General Battery use guide:
Long charge the new battery first, and then re-use. New batteries generally need to go throughcharge and discharge cycles three to four times to build capacity to the highest value.
Best used in the order: full, use, charge, full for optimal performance.
Keep the battery positive and negative terminals clean to ensure normal use and charging.
Rechargeable batteries like being used but don't like to be left without being used for long periods ( 6 months or longer) . This is because long-term self-discharge will occur and cause the battery to go completely flat, resulting in degradation of the batteries' internal chemicals, the voltage can drop to zero volts and cannot be restored to its original capacity, or even be rendered unusable.
Do not use old and new batteries or put together batteries in a different state of charge. It's preferable to match capacity, type and brand than use different types of batteries.
